Early Elementary
Designed to help the teacher motivate while also
providing a wonderful collection of Christmas
favorites, In Recital™ with Christmas Favorites™,

whole notes; uses only 3/4 and 4/4 time signatures;

G minor keys-using accidentals instead of key
signatures. Students will concentrate on playing
tied notes, legato and staccato articulations,
accents, upbeats, a few chords, blocked intervals,

Late Elementary
Book Three of In Recital™ with Christmas Favorites,
like the other books in this series, complement
other FJH publications and will help you plan
student recital repertoire for holiday season
recitals. This book reinforces concepts such as
legato and staccato; five-finger and chromatic
scales; as well as scale patterns that extend
from the usual five-finger patterns; the use of
the pedal is continued and expanded to create

In Recital™ with Christmas Favorites, Book Five
is designed to help teachers motivate students
while also providing a perfect holiday treat.
Triplet and sixteenth-note patterns as well as
dotted rhythmic patterns and syncopated rhythms
are used. Reinforces concepts like rubato, chords
and their inversions, octave scale passages, arpeggios,
blocked octaves, simple ornamentation, and playing
two voices within the same hand. Contains beautiful
arrangements of classics like: The Holly and the
