My daily morning routine of writing is usually the only serene moment of my day. During these quiet moments of writing, time becomes unshackled as my thoughts begin to delve into free and spontaneous moments of a deeper understanding of my music. I enter into a much more unexplainable realm. Time ceases controlling my thoughts and at times large swaths of conscience moments seem lost to the process of my allowing a deeper understanding to take hold. A process that needs to define its own unique world. A time when the imagination conquers the outside influences and flows freely from one musical idea to the next. Creativity seems to seep through the crevices as reality loses its firm grip and a more clear and permanent world now comes into focus.
